Forgot to mention the other awful part about getting up early to bicycle: having to force some food down before I'm ready to eat. Yesterday's half an apple went down easier than today's half banana, but still. Ick. I usually like to be awake several hours before attempting breakfast.
I tried something new today, rolling up some ice cubes in a paper towel and stuffing them down my sports bra so they would melt and keep that middle area cooler. Clearly, fabric would be better than paper. :O
