So, I had surgery yesterday to remove the mass near my shoulder, and the doctor says it went well and everything came out easily. Recovering from the anaesthetia is never fun. The grogginess and dizziness! The nausea! The, uh, muscle-tremor jackhammer leg-thingy (seriously, that was weird). And the random itchiness all night long. Ugh-- that sure made it hard to sleep.

Feeling better today, taking the pain meds and trying to remember not to use my right arm (and not to reach for things, for crying out loud). I'll be home recuperating the rest of the week at least, and we'll see where the pain is by then.

But what a relief to have that over with. :D

Yes, it's finally out of the way. Just getting a follow-up on where to go after the initial biopsy was a pain-- lots of prodding to get someone to take action.

But given that the 'mass' was going to be removed, it's nice to have that over with. I'll hate the recuperation time, but I don't have to worry about what it's up to anymore. :)
