Nouns, Schmouns...
HalfshellHusband tried to convince me last night that the orthodontist wanted to pull out some of our son's molars. That made no sense—they'd been part of the orthodontia, and you don't randomly remove molars. Plus, they were done coming in. Wisdom teeth are a different story. People remove those all the—

HalfshellHusband: "Wisdom teeth, yes. Wait, what did I say before?"

I can't remember if our daughter is supposed to get all of hers out too (and we're just waiting for them to get closer to the surface), or whether only some are coming out. She had two teeth pulled for braces, which still kind of puzzles me. I had four bicuspids removed when I was a kid, because in those days, all the teeth that "lined up" in the bite went if there wasn't enough room. I don't see how having more on the top or bottom could be good, but that's what she wound up with. Possibly, two wisdom teeth will be added as well.

We might get some rain tomorrow, which would be welcome despite leading to garage-biking for me. It would have been a wonderful weather for a ride today, but my boss has scheduled his weekly meeting right in my early-afternoon bicycling window. I regret it every Wednesday. :(

Friday, though... that has outdoor possibilities. *fingers crossed*

Questions I want answered without endless dinking around on Google: who wrote the theme song to XYZ (eg., "Battle Creek" and "Backstrom" at the moment), and are those real songs I can buy somewhere? If not, WHY not? The answer to the first is Brandan Calhoon and apparently "No." The second? Still looking. :(

Yes I like the new job a lot. Big company. I kinda like that. Weirdly enough it seems like the people are a lot more social with each other in the big company than was the case in the smaller one. There was a co-worker I didn't get along with when I started but he's on a one year sabbatical now, yay! We work quite a bit with India. At first I was like, fingers crossed, fingers crossed, I hope that means eventually the company will pay me to fly over there for some team building event. I don't even worry about all the violence stuff. But then I made the mistake of watching the new Vice episode on all pollution and the amount public defecation in the streets and now suddenly I'm starting to doubt whether I want to go XD XD XD

I feel like it's insane how much time has passed. My niece is entering high school/leaving grade school in fall. To think she wasn't even born when Prison Break started and we met!

Not much use on the "other life" other than that. I guess I was always a bit of a late bloomer and that kind bites me in the butt now, but I'm fairly zen about it. Thinking about online dating, but want to work a bit more on the summer bikini figure before I do.

Parents are still fine thankfully, same for bro and his family. I still babysit his kids once a week even though they really are getting too old for it I think ;) But hey, as long as they still enjoy it and since it's not really out of the way. I just bought them the Avatar the Last Airbender tv show because I couldn't stand another episode of the Disney Gummy Bears cartoon. XD Thankfully they seem to like it so far. I also started buying co-op video games we can play together when I baby sit them. (they are fairly limited in the media they can consume from their parents side for anything other than books, so it's usually fun for them when I bring something)

Is there anything your boys like (reading/watching/playing) that you'd reccommend?
