Or actually, the downtown Sacramento Public Library.

I'm on a midday break from jury duty (jury selection begins this afternoon, PLEASE let me not get picked). I'm half asleep and a little headachy because I was up too late trying to finish reading all the Idol entries before today's voting deadline. And did not finish-- thank goodness the library has Wifi. Took me another hour to read the remaining eight stories and vote. :O

My entry is a different take on a fairytale favorite, written with thegrimms who in fact ARE two people, and both very talented to boot! Intersections in Week 1, how is that possible, you say? Well, I'm still wondering that myself.

So, I guess this is Wednesday? I'm in a fog. We had an out-of-town trip for a family event on Sunday that took all day, and it sort of seems like the weekend didn't happen. Oh! Our 24th wedding anniversary was on Monday, too, though we're going to have to wait until the coming weekend to celebrate. This was all easier before we had kids, since we could actually leave town. By ourselves...
