Supernatural Gen "Disappointment" Drabble: Bon Appetit

God, he was so hungry— close to eating the sugar packets in the table display.

C’mon, c’mon. Dean’s fingers drummed as Sam’s eyes narrowed across the way.

“Here you are,” the waitress said, setting the plate down hastily.

Vegetables and white cubes swam in nasty-looking sauce.

“What the--?” he began. Sam’s mile-high turkey club had lightly-grilled bread and beautiful, plumped-up meat.

“The special,” Sam said. “You ordered it.”

“This is evil!” Dean hissed. “It’s healthy.

“Send it back.”

“You know what’ll happen then!” Dean pouted… then smiled hopefully. “Wanna trade?”

“Nothing doing.” Sam chewed rapturously while Dean just stewed.
