Definitely not Sam and Dean...

I've been reading April's Outside Magazine cover-to-cover at the gym, and today finished an article written by a man who, as he puts it, basically makes his living writing about fighting with his brother. The story of their trip to Venice to paddle in the Vogolonga Regatta (and the epic bickering that ensued) is here. You know, I wanted to kill that brother about 5 minutes in, though I'll bet the author is just as bad.

Sam and Dean fight, but it's against a backdrop of love and loyalty as with most families.

Growing up, my younger sister and I used to fight a lot, but I always thought, "Hey, at least we're not chasing each other around the yard with a pitchfork, like our brother and sister!" The brothers in that article make MY sibs look like amateurs, not to mention that all of us eventually outgrew that kind of fighting. By contrast, I think that author has years of potential fodder for his writing ahead, assuming he doesn't wind up in prison first. Because ultimately... that article was funny as hell.

Happy Dean's Day, everyone!
