Ack! Can't go, must sell!
*sigh* Yeah, I missed the memo on the whole Passport Required For Canada travel thing, and my passport expired ten years ago (right before I had my first child. Yes, those things are related). The turnaround time is just too long (unless I want to pay $350-$400 dollars to expedite), so the upshot is that I just can't go overall.

I'm sure you're all as sick of the drama as I am!

So once again, I've got to sell my Silver Ticket.

Here's the ebay listing: Silver Ticket

It's priced starting at $100, with free shipping. What a bargain! The bidding time is just one day, because I need to get the ticket off via Express Mail to the winner in time for the event.

The Silver Ticket package includes personal autographs with all of the major cast members, which is worth the price of the ticket alone!

ETA: Now I have to figure out what to wear to that wedding after all. That will fit. And doesn't have 1980's padded-armor shoulders. :0

I wonder if I forgot to post an update? I forget so much these days.

The swelling started to go down about 1 1/2 weeks after the first chemo treatment. Midway through the second one, the pain in his leg was gone AND it was almost the same size as the other one.

The chemo's kind of whomping him (the nausea and fatigue are manageable, but when it spills over into endless throwing up it's awful). But it's also whomping the cancer.

With the pain gone, he can sleep most of the night, which makes a huge difference. Before, he usually got about 2-3 hours from the painkillers and then was awake for the rest of the night.

I think you'd posted he was improving, but I may have missed an update. Glad he's doing so much better. Hopefully the throwing up will end soon. Sleep is good. It makes almost everything better ;)
