Ack! Can't go, must sell!
*sigh* Yeah, I missed the memo on the whole Passport Required For Canada travel thing, and my passport expired ten years ago (right before I had my first child. Yes, those things are related). The turnaround time is just too long (unless I want to pay $350-$400 dollars to expedite), so the upshot is that I just can't go overall.

I'm sure you're all as sick of the drama as I am!

So once again, I've got to sell my Silver Ticket.

Here's the ebay listing: Silver Ticket

It's priced starting at $100, with free shipping. What a bargain! The bidding time is just one day, because I need to get the ticket off via Express Mail to the winner in time for the event.

The Silver Ticket package includes personal autographs with all of the major cast members, which is worth the price of the ticket alone!

ETA: Now I have to figure out what to wear to that wedding after all. That will fit. And doesn't have 1980's padded-armor shoulders. :0

Are you stuck with about the same recovery as a hysterectomy? 6-8 weeks? A lot of that seems to be due to how much the body hates having anyone cut through the muscle wall- it punishes you with pain and fatigue afterward, even if the surgery was a good thing. :(

And ditch the pillow when you get into a car.

It's amazing how much you use those stomach muscles without thinking about it, isn't it?

I remember trying to do situps after my first baby was born, and not realizing that those muscles slowly part and stretch to make room for the baby. When I sent the "Do situp!" message down to my stomach, I felt this little wiggling sensation on both sides of my body toward the outside.

The nerves still got the message... at the muscles' new location. :0

They eventually moved back, but that was freaky.
