SPN 4x22 and other things...
I made it safely home via bike-commute last night, obviously. Had to stop on the pedestrian bridge over I-80 to change a flat (staple! Augh!), and I took a wrong turn on a street inside a neighborhood < 1 mile from my house. Heh. Not bad, considering, though. Looks like (with the revised route I decided on last night) both directions will be right around 18 miles.

Last night's Supernatural was a huge relief, which I really wasn't expecting. Don't want to spoil anyone for the ending, but if you've been dreading it then you most likely will feel major relief when it's over. Regardless of whether you like where S4 ends, trust me—things on the Sam&Dean front are better than we expected.

Got some birthdays coming up this weekend! [info]aeroport_art is tomorrow, and [info] - personalgirlmostlikely is on Sunday. Li and Ginger, I hope you both have a great birthday (the weekend is SO much better than the work-week, so you're off to a fantastic start). If either of you would like a birthday drabble, please leave me some prompts in the comments below! Might even be able to get started early, for a change. ;)

relief is a good word for it! also there may or may not have been fist-pumping in my house. :D i liked the ending and i didn't, but mostly yeah, relieved. and kind of curious what s5 is going to be like.

I was so surprised by that ending, in that I'd been petrified by the possibilities of where the Sam&Dean relationship might leave off. "Relief" is the only word I can think of to describe my feelings that those fears were NOT realized.

Just a quick drive-by through friends friends, but I had to say that

was an awesome thing to come across this morning. I'd been putting off watching 4x21 until 4x22 aired, so that I'd have at least some kind of closure, and now I've got friends scheduled to come over on Sunday to watch them both. I had even been kind of dreading that, but now I can't wait. No worries about the plot/potential cliffhanger/whatever of the episodes, this is what had me scared. And now I'm not! So yay Kripke, and yay you - thanks.

Oh, the decision to delay 4x21 until 4x22 was available was smart. 4x21 tends to build all those fears, so I think you'll have an easier time of it than most.

I'm glad you were pleased to see this-- I truly didn't want to spoil anyone, but I know what people on my f-list have been fearing (to the point where they're many episodes behind, and practically watching through their fingers as it is).

Knowing that we're all "safe," whenever we get to seeing 4x22, is something that I think is important to a lot of people.

Thanks for letting me know it helped you!

Relief covers it! I was so prepared to loose Bobby and end the season with the boys at each other's throats. VERY happy that Bobby lives, Rudy's gone and the boys are together.

Me too-- on all accounts. I will not have to suffer through GC's appalling acting any longer (though really- the producers should have taken care of that problem early in the season), and Bobby did not become an almost-Winchester sacrifice to The Cause.

Plus, the boys together again and talking for real... *happy sigh* I've SO needed that.

It migrated into something less Sam/Dean, so I'll have to try again! Hope the birthday was lovely, and not too wintery. :)

:D I posted it up for Barb's belated, though it arose from your prompt. You'd probably like it, but I'm going to write you one of your own.

And I would NEVER do Dean/Cas to you. Never.
