I was afraid I might get Deanna, but she ranked equally with Uhura. Look how close the Expendable Redshirt is, and that isn't even a single character!

It took me awhile to get into TNG, because the S1 writing was weak and I never did like the "co-commander" setup with Riker. That always seemed utterly weird. But I loved Beverly, and Jean Luc, and Data of course. And on Voyager, I was utterly taken with the Holodoc and Tuvix. For Enterprise, it was the delightful weirdness of Dr. Phlox. Really, except for the intermediate TNG physician, I've loved all the doctors. :0

Yeah, that suits you :)

:D You're sweet! I've always said that if my hair should really head into the gray, I want to dye it Beverly Crusher red. The dull auburn thing I've got going doesn't begin to compare. :)

Oh sure, rub in that you're a character that survives past the opening credits. Us Redshirts will remember you the next time there's a charging rabid Targ and-

Oh, hey, wait, you're the ship's doctor. Never mind! ;-D

(Actually, yeah, it does suit you.)

Awwww! And with Jean Luc so close behind, too!

I'm trying to remember what show it was that involved someone escaping in a space pod, on the run from predators. I'm pretty sure it was one of the Star Trek spinoffs, in an early episode. DS9, maybe? Didn't Doctor Bashir bond with the doomed "prey," or whatever he was? I think he was "Tosk," which was a generic "prey" in an ongoing game. I wanted that character to stick around and survive! *is contrary*

But as the ship's doctor, I'll bemoan the fact that you died on the planet before I even had a chance to revive you in sick bay! Damnit, Jim, I'm a doctor, not a miracle worker!

Oops-- wrong show. ;)

I think that's the right result for you, sweetheart. :)

I did it and got Redshirt!! Oh well. *sighs*

Awwww... I think the "Redshirt" flags down people who are supportive of others and don't seek attention for themselves. I.e., those that are very sweet and humble! Which gives them entirely the wrong impression of their true value. *hugs*

Well that's very sweet of you, my darling. :) I have no claims on sainthood, however! Honest!

There did seem to be an appalling turn-over of Redshirts though, huh?!! Playing expendable characters sure was dangerous! ;)
