Not fic, for a change!

Still working through my last 4 "Drabble Meme" prompts. The many birthdays last week slowed me down a little, but it's all awesomeness as far as I'm concerned.

Speaking of awesome, if you have graphics skills (you know, in the way that I totally DON'T), there are still some fics for the spn_j2_bigbang that need artists. Details here. Don't be shy!

My weekend had a lot of writing, NO trip to Marineworld (stupid rain!), some Loony Toons cartoons (Disk #3 is great!), some re-organizing and donating to Goodwill (\o/), and no Desperate Housewives because I forgot about it while we were catching up on Better Off Ted. I'm not sorry about that last part, though. The show hasn't done much for me since S1, and at this point the only characters I really like are Tom and Mike and crotchety old Karen. All of the housewives bug me.

While I've got you on the line, let's talk fic recs, because I'm WAY overdue on that.

Untitled #21 (Sam/Dean, S4, PG-13) pixel_0 wrote this Season 4 story for me. The descriptions are beautiful and there's a sense of peace at the end, as if things between Sam&Dean will be fine no matter what else happens.
Doctor Blind (Sam/Dean, S1, PG-13) Part of a drabble-meme by whereupon, this brief story is so atmospheric and gorgeous that I'd love to see it as a longer fic.

Terminator: SCC
Two of these by whereupon to recommend, also extensions of her drabble meme. The first, Untitled, is a really clever Cameron POV that combines her factoid-based thinking with melancholy borne through glimpses of future events. The second, Passacalgia, was for me, and features a wonderful vignette with Ellison and John Henry that is true to both characters.

Tonight: new House and new 24 (I kind of want Olivia to get killed off soon, but I doubt that will happen). I still haven't watched the Chuck finale, but I'm hoping to see it this week!
