They'd killed the golem, and spent three hours at the hospital getting Sam's arm fixed. Finally, they were back at the motel.
Sam came out of the bathroom, scowling. "Man, this sucks!"
"Your pants are open."
"Zipper's on the wrong side now." Sam yanked some sweatpants out of his duffel bag.
"Thought I burned those..."
"Thankfully, no."
Sam wrestled through changing and started researching for a new case.
"You groaned?" Dean asked, five minutes later.
"I can't—stupid cast!"
Dean sat next to him. "It's okay. I'll take notes for you."
"Thanks."
"No problem, Sammy. That's what brothers are for."
