Rainbow Meme
Huh. Mine is really washed-out. Or maybe that's wishy-washy:

Your rainbow is shaded yellow.

What is says about you: You are a joyful person. You appreciate optimism. You're good at getting people to like you.

Find the colors of your rainbow at spacefem.com.

I like both adventure AND tranquility, sea and passion. Which I could call balance, but others might see as indecisive or contradictory. Which leads right back to the possibly 'wishy-washy' verdict. ;)

Had a great Thanksgiving, with just my M-I-L over. She's doing pretty well (currently short-of-breath, and I'm hoping that's a lingering side-effect from a stubborn cold and not a further deterioration). We had BBQ turkey with apple-butter under the skin and green apples & onions stuffed inside (this turkey never dries out). I didn't used to be a turkey fan, but this I love.

Went running late (had to wait until my M-I-L went home), and twisted my ankle when an oncoming car forced me to move to the side of the road while blinding me with its headlights. After about 1 1/2 blocks it was well enough to run on, but it stiffened up later. Tuesday I went cycling and nearly hit a turkey-- ooh, that would've been bad timing for the turkey! First-hand experience of their "luddleluddleluddle" gobbling noise, which is ridiculous.

Also watched Hancock after the kids went to bed. Rough start, but an interesting movie after all. HalfshellHusband randomly mentioned that he likes Will Smith in much the same way he likes Jimmy Stewart, which abstractly makes a certain amount of sense to me!

I appreciate optimism, but I can't say whether the rest of it is true! Not a lot of detail.

My ankle is still stiff-- I think some walking would be good to loosen it up, though today was a cycling day (that didn't help anything-- the stiffness is the side-to-side motion, not the up-and-down).

You liked Hancock okay, huh?
About 2 1/2 stars, I'd say. Not as solid as I would have liked, and the beginning bordered on being repugnant, with a good middle, and then kind of a WTF ending. So I can see your issues!

I think Harvey is on DVD, but we have it on VHS so I haven't checked!

It was a good holiday-- restful, uneventful. The dark side was being up until nearly 2:30am, getting some traction on the Tony/Rhodey fic I'm working on. First it was the falling asleep before my hundred-word minimum was up, and then it was the second wind (562 words total, which is a lot for the 11pm-2:30 timeslot). :0

Was yours good? You were home, I take it (I know you were today), and being home is a big occasion these days for you!

Mine was good so far and likely to stay that way with not much planned. My department at the hospital is closed holidays and working only one weekend a month, not my weekend, means I worked Tues night and don't go back until next Tues. Nice long break between shifts to rest up :o)

Lots of relaxing... well after tonight as its a lil tense around here with Emma having her boyfriend over for a visit - POOR DAD - for the first time.

Have a great one.
