"What the hell's wrong with you, Sam? You've turned into a news junkie."


"This!" Dean said. "Every time I turn around, you're fixated on the newspaper or the TV. What's going on?"

"It's just—" Sam began, "I was registered to vote. In California. And not voting in this election bugs me."

"You want to be part of history, with Obama."


"And that's it? Nothing about gay marriage? Because I'm not the marrying kind…"

"That's okay, I wasn't asking. I'm pretty sure we've got a loophole as next-of-kin anyway."

"Stop bringing that up!"

"Okay, Dean. Whatever."

"That's better."

I can imagine Sam mentioning it at all sorts of inappropriate times, and Dean totally losing his mojo because of it.
Oh, me too- because Sam totally does not care, and Dean is totally hung up over that little detail. Which makes it fair game for torturing Dean with as often as possible. ;)

I'm so glad you liked it-- talk about a challenge, getting Sam/Dean out of that prompt. But in the end, it came around. With a vengeance. :D
