I wonder if anything important is happening today... :D

More than half my f-list knows what's on tonight, and I know we're all looking forward to it. Those of us on the West Coast will have to wait 3 more hours, but still!

It's also grayscaled's birthday today. Though the WB is giving you a really incredible present today, I want to chime in with my own offerings: many happy returns and best wishes for a great year ahead! If you'd like a drabble for your special day, please comment below with prompts and type. \o/

In exercise news, I ran yesterday (it was windy) and broke a 10-minute-mile average. In the summertime, just finishing is a big deal, but getting under 10-minutes is the second thing I hope for. In the winter, I eventually break 9 minutes, but summer is much harder for heat weenies like me.

By contrast, I cycled Monday through some heat problems. It wasn't that hot-- only 92F-- but I was exhausted and had goosebumps from the first 5 miles in. Ready to quit at about 22 miles, but I forced another 5.5 miles out because that was supposed to be my 30-mile day. Seriously, I never felt particularly overheated-- it's all the other signs that show what's happening. :(

Thanks to Torrent technology, we're watching S1 of Chuck to try getting as caught up as we can before S2 starts. Chuck Bartowski came up as my TV Boyfriend match on a meme about 6 months back, which seemed odd given that I'd never seen the show. But having watched 3 episodes... OMG, it's true. Chuck is totally my actual type. He's cute, sweet (my fatal weakness), sincere, funny, smart, and not pushy. Oh LJ Quiz, how do you know me so well?

Still working on the first of several gifts for the Fall Fandom Free-for-all. Hope to finish in the next day or two. :0
