The "Who to Shag" meme

1. Bold the names of guys you'd definitely have sex with.
2. Italicize the names of guys you might have sex with after a little persuasion.
3. Leave the guys who don't do anything for you alone.
4. Turn gray the names of guys you can't actually get a mental image of.
5. Strike the guys you wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole.
6. ADD FOUR OF YOUR OWN AT THE END. NOTE THAT THESE ARE THE FICTIONAL CHARACTERS, NOT THE ACTORS THEMSELVES...(That's a whole other survey!)

138) Sayid Jarrah (LOST, tv)
139) Armand (Interview With the Vampire, Book, Film) No vampires.
140) Ben ('Finn') Finnegan (Fool's Gold, movie) The actor is probably Matthew McConaughey, but the character? I don't care for men who won't grow up.

Adding my four:

142) Mr. Sulu (Star Trek Original Series, tv) My first crush, age 5.
143) Hector, Prince Of Troy ("Troy," movie)

:0 He's not just pretty. I mean, those eyes!

I think Orlando is pretty as Legolas, but as Will Turner is just very good-looking. Because normally, actually pretty is kind of a "No." As in, Rob Lowe or anyone feminine-looking (emo-boys with makeup are all a big fat No.)

I have no clue who half of them are, but I'm afraid I'm terribly attracted to the sociopaths (Dexter and both Malfoys excluded for unprettiness).

I'd do Will in a heartbeat and probably take Dean over Sam because Sam doesn't give me the player vibe so he might (oh the horror) call afterwards or something. (Yes, I'm weird, but if a guy manages to weasel my phonenumber out of me they better damned well not call, it freaks me out.)

They have charm and magnetism, but I find them utterly scary (Daddy Malfoy is the only attractive one in your bunch for me).

I'm not much of one for the bad boys in general, which is kind of obvious from the list.

Nooooooo! How are you going to make progress if they can't call you afterward?

Oh dear. These memes are so hard for me because there are the "guys who I'd have sex with" (Mmmmm. Sammmmmich.) and the guys who I'd have sex with (forevermore-- happily and frequently-- a finite set of 1).

That said. YES times a billion to Agent "J"! Yum! Bringing The Funny is the fastest way to my heart pants. *G*

Well, yes. In reality, I'm not shopping around and won't ever be.

What's funny is, looking at this list... I'm more comfortable with myself (a little) than when I was single, but I'm still very much me. Players, misogynists, and bad-boys of all types have always been a "No," and that hasn't changed at all!

That said. YES times a billion to Agent "J"! Yum! Bringing The Funny is the fastest way to my heart pants. *G*
Haha! I am very big on guys with a sense of humor, and I don't mean the "3 Stooges" or "fart-jokes" kind of humor either. Dry, clever, unexpected-- or randomly silly-- just gets me every time. If he were younger, Agent "K" would probably be on the list too. ;)

Was it necessary to mention the extensive use of a toothbrush being required too? :0

*scratches head* I think you'll have to explain this one to me.
We've mostly only seen him with his sons, and how he treats them hacks me off. Plus, he's got a militaristic attitude and expects his sons to call him "Sir" instead of "Dad," and that usually does not bode well on the front of "liking women as people rather than putting them on a pedestal." There's a big crossover with those attitudes and with the whole Madonna/Whore thing, and I'm not a fan of that at all.

The actor (see icon) is smokin', otherwise this would be a definite "No"! :0

:D I supposed I could have put him in blazing red font or something to make him REALLY stand out.

Lincoln has sex appeal mainly because Dominic is playing him, but he's a bad-boy and none-too-bright, and those are not my type. John Doe though? He was the whole package-- good-looking, smart, wanted to do the right thing, and with an air of vulnerability and a certain innocence under it all. G.U.H. \o/

I know-- it's all Cable or WB, and for me that's mostly, "Huh? Who now?"

But I'm with you on Spock and Sulu. Had the worst crush on them when I was younger.
When I was younger my crush was only on Sulu-- handsome, great voice, cheerful and kind, and what a smile! As I got older (read, college-age) I suddenly started to see what the attraction to Spock was all about. When we'd watch the show (in first run!) as a family, my mother was just smitten with Spock and I didn't get it.

I have to laugh at myself now, since it's utterly obvious to the grownup me. :D

12) Michael Scofield (Prison Break, tv) Not convinced he's actually straight, so what's the point?

You're missing out, dear! ;) I'd go after these two in a heartbeat. But then again, my best friend in real life is gay and has no soul, so I guess I've got both of the above covered ;)

P.S. Until and unless he says otherwise, Wentworth Miller will always be straight to me =P
The Coalition For Disturbing Metaphors: Bladehalfshellvenus on July 23rd, 2008 05:21 pm (UTC)
But, as a gay man yourself (unless I've missed something) that totally works for you! Whereas for a woman, not so much!

You don't find Dexter creepy at all? Even when the actor was on "Six Feet Under" there was a veneer of creepiness (aside from the business, which is... you know).

P.S. Until and unless he says otherwise, Wentworth Miller will always be straight to me =P
Ha! He's handsome and terribly nice (perhaps shy) from what I can tell, but the man pings my gaydar harder than a lot of people who are actually out of the closet.

I tuned in for Dominic Purcell, who (even with the lack of hair) will always be WalkingManSex to me. Wentworth... it took me about 4-5 episodes to notice that he was kind of good-looking. :0 Not your average PB viewer, obviously

But then again, my best friend in real life is gay and has no soul
I'm assuming you're mostly kidding, because how can you be best friends with someone who has no soul? Though in my college years I did hang out a lot with someone who drove me crazy half the time, but she had a soul-- it was just carefully hidden under a veneer of snark and spikes to keep from getting hurt.

But, as a gay man yourself (unless I've missed something) that totally works for you!
Nope, not missing anything >=)

You don't find Dexter creepy at all?
Sure, he's kinda creepy, but most of that stems from his choice of hobbies. I have a hobby which most people would probably sneer at and think that makes me slightly creepy too... I mean, writing about people I've never met and their characters in vaguely or explicitly sexual situations? lol. Not to mention my propensity to write code and design software in my spare time.

Ha! He's handsome and terribly nice (perhaps shy) from what I can tell, but the man pings my gaydar harder than a lot of people who are actually out of the closet.
I don't trust my gaydar when it comes to men who are almost unnaturally attractive. There's a certain amount of wishful thinking that I know can play into it, so I just avoid making judgments from there =) And even if I did trust my gaydar implicitly, I'd still hope and think he's straight, because a man of his popularity and celebrity who is still in the closet has got to be in some serious internal pain, which I would not wish on anyone.

I tuned in for Dominic Purcell, who (even with the lack of hair) will always be WalkingManSex to me.
Yeah, DP is quite the sexy beast >=) I absolutely love his portrayal of Dracula in Blade III (which you have so conveniently captured in your userpic), not necessarily because it was stunning or because the character was great, but because it was a great opportunity for him to play (and for us to watch) him be all bestial and feral. Not to say he did a bad job or that the character was thin, of course, as those aren't the case.

I'm assuming you're mostly kidding
Yeah, I know he has a soul... but he likes pretending otherwise, and we let him.

it was just carefully hidden under a veneer of snark and spikes to keep from getting hurt.
Precisely ^_^. Expressed as only you can, my dear.

Hahaha! Yes, I guess perspective is everything, isn't it? Though at least no dead bodies are involved. And since I code myself, I have no framework for that being odd at all. ;)

because a man of his popularity and celebrity who is still in the closet has got to be in some serious internal pain, which I would not wish on anyone.
I don't wish that dilemna on anyone, but can't help that he comes off that way to me. Someday none of it will matter, and I look forward to when that becomes true!

I don't even watch CSI (too gross), but Warrick is handsome and smart, which is always a bonus. Mohinder... Guh. Another show I don't watch, but I've definitely noticed him.
