Happy Birthday, Destina and Wrldpossibility
It's a dual-birthday day, for two lovely ladies from two different fandoms. :)

Dear destina, I hope you have a wonderful birthday and a year to match it. I know how hard the last birthday was, and wish very much for this one and life itself to better suit your gentle spirit. Many hugs and good thoughts to you today. ♥

For wrldpossibility, I hope you get an enormous cake that you do not bake yourself (perhaps one of those frighteningly messy ones with multicolored frosting dripping with love) and an excellent and productive year ahead on both the running and writing fronts! I'm already thinking of you with the 99o day forecast for us tomorrow and knowing that your weather pretty much parallels mine. Only being a morning person will save you, and I'm sure you've got more possibility in that area than me. Many happy returns and a wonderfully squishy day to you!

I have nothing prepared ahead of time, but if either of you ladies would like a drabble just let me know. :)

Oh, thank you so much! I know, tomorrow is supposed to be super hot. I actually hurt my knee playing volleyball (cue the "getting old" jokes) and can't run (the impact hurts so badly I get tears) but I can use the machines at the gym, so I've been working out in air conditioning!

I'm about to eat dinner complete with a 'homemade with love' type cake. I did request chocolate though, so how bad could it be? *tempts fate*

Thank you for thinking of me today, dear! I've been following your real life posts, and hope everything is well with you guys. I'm thinking of you, too!

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that! But since I'm 44, any "getting old" stuff will not go over well. ;)

The Stairmaster, which I don't use anymore, seems to duplicate the running muscles pretty well (better than the elliptical), BUT... I find it grinds my knees a litte. :0

:D When Lauren was 4 or 5, I got an EasyBake chocolate cake which did have chocolate frosting... augmented by globules of colored frosting that was left over from Christopher's specialty birthday cake. Gray was involved. :0

I've been following your real life posts, and hope everything is well with you guys.
The kids are back (and had a great time), and we're dealing with my husband's issues as needed. Mostly the treatments (bad), and how to work them out in "secret," since the kids are home all summer. But we have fun things planned for the family-- even have a campsite reservation in July. :)

That sounds really tough, and from what you mention, I admire how you're handling it all. Yay for camping and fun!

And I usually use the elliptical. Maybe I should go back to the stairmaster. Hmm.

Thank you for remembering, and for the lovely birthday wishes this year. *hugs* I'm already so behind on reading and commenting that I'd feel bad asking for a drabble! But you're very kind to offer.

I was afraid the story I was working on might just go out another week or so (darn, but writing porn is slow). But instead it's finished, and not TOO much later than your birthday.

Hugs and many happy returns, and I hope this lifts your spirits. :)
