What I wrote in May...
I was going to do this on May 31st, but then... I didn't. And see how far along in June we are now?

I hardly finished anything in May, except my Sweet Charity story. Whoo! I did start several things that didn't finish, but that doesn't really count yet. ;)

Supernatural Gen:
Always Too Soon Gone (Five Friends Sam Left Behind) (PG-13) - Pre-series, no aspect of this was ever easy for Sam.

Supernatural Slash:
As We Wind On Down The Road (NC-17) - my Sweet Charity story, set in early S3: With so little time left, Sam's had all he can take of Dean pushing him away.

When The World Stops Spinning (PG-13) - a "first kiss" drabble for the always sweet particlesofgale.
The Sheltering Sea (PG-13) - Post S3 "Happily Ever After" drabble (really!) for the lovely girlmostlikely.
And This We (I) Become (PG-13) - Pre-series Sam/Dean for aeroport_art's birthday!
Worlds Aside And Time Held Distant (PG-13) - a schmoopy Sam/Dean drabble for the wonderful girlguidejones.

Other:
This sizeable Rec List of children's books I've read recently.

Some of mine has been writer's block, however justifiably related to the fact that I have been working 10-12 hours days fairly consistently...

That does nothing to explain the WIPs that I haven't touched and refuse to declare dead. ;-P I am finishing them up before starting new WIPs, but I still can't get these one-shots out of my system. There's a lot of Gen on the horizon for me. ;-P

:D That's actually another part of the problem: "Let me tempt you with this idea, which will be a nice little ficlet." *digs in* "Wait, I lied. That idea cannot be realized with expaaaanding into something that will not be finished anytime soon."

*kicks it*

You just described a story I wrote for five months. I was asked to write a remix of one of my stories for someone and, um, it evolved into some kind of behemoth.

But you'd be proud. I'm posting a 1300 word story tonight despite spending most of my day at the doctor's office or the emergency room. And it's gen. ;-P
