Thanks-- I needed that! ♥

A co-worker sent it to me and we giggled about it for good long time.

http://xkcd.com/94/
http://xkcd.com/303/ (you may not get this one... but it's one of my favorites)
http://xkcd.com/145/ (because it is both a language commentary, a funny parody, a dinosaur comic, AND an xkcd!)
http://xkcd.com/44/
And, for the pièce de résistance...
http://xkcd.com/239/

=) Just click through random. Lots of them are really nerdy, but there are also some that are just generally funny.

Looking through them to find some for you really brightened my day too!

Okay, I'm done. Scout's honor.

Ha-- sexual experimentation indeed!

Oh, you young folks these days. We used to talk philosophy when that kind of stalemate came up. Or the eternal arguments such as "Who's better-- Itzhak Perlman or Pinchas Zukermann?"

It's like the musician's version of Batman vs. Superman. "Who's better, Placido Domingo or Luciano Pavarotti?"

Too busy arguing for sexual experimentation. ;)
The Coalition For Disturbing Metaphors: heh-hehhalfshellvenus on April 4th, 2008 01:16 am (UTC)
Haha! I loved the first one, both because I'm a flow-chart geek, and also because of the choice "Angsty about it?" => "No" => "Yes you are!" in an infinite loop.

And the programming one... I AM a programmer, so that one definitely hit home.

Though now you're supposed to be working on documentation when your code's compiling. Unless the network's down-- High Five! or ARGH! depending on your current achievements vs. project schedule. ;)

Oh god, this one cracked me the hell up. Two funnies in one! \o/

Look: Dean, is that you? And Sam? :0
etherealflaimetherealflaim on April 4th, 2008 01:45 am (UTC)
Teehee.

I love xkcd.

I'm glad you enjoyed it =) One of the biggest reasons that xkcd is funny is because it's TRUE. =D
PamalaX: Alexlaughpamalax on April 4th, 2008 01:20 am (UTC)
Always in need of a laugh myself I found these very amusing. Never heard the Bush one before. :o)
The Coalition For Disturbing Metaphorshalfshellvenus on April 4th, 2008 01:22 am (UTC)
Yes-- I can definitely detect an Election 2000 thread of bitterness to a couple of those!

NOT that it wasn't deserved. ;)

I can't take credit for this one, but...

But the boys would be gentle with each other, you know they would. Except for Evil!Sam. And maybe Evil!Demon!Daddy. Or the YED. :0

Diapered Jackal
Uh-oh. I'm getting a visual!

Begin Terrors
Very apt, for a producer of this show!

Merman Skin
After the X-Files, part of me fears that this one might be entirely true. :0

Nice work!
The Coalition For Disturbing Metaphorshalfshellvenus on April 4th, 2008 05:20 am (UTC)
Re: more anagrams...
Entrance Wished
That's what Sam's thinking all the time! And every other man who sees Dean, probably. :0

Semantic Shrew
:0 I think Dean would agree with you-- that's Sam in a nutshell, from Dean's point of view. ;)

He Screw Hot Jinn
So maybe THAT's what went on down below during those months...

I tried L RON HUBBARD and got only NO HARD BLURB

You can make lots of anagrams, but they don't always work as evilly as some of the ones in the list! For some reason, I'm strangely pleased by the math one.

All these are good things. Mmmmm, popcorn. ;)

It's so dead around LJ these days, you'd think it was summer right now! :0

LOL. Everyone's off an cons! And I guess having no eps always = a bit of a drop off!

I prefer that to Epic Wank, which is the other alternative:

"You're a self-hating mysogynist if you don't see that!"

"Yeah? Well, you're a racist. And you don't respect the actors."
