This could be interesting, so I'll give this borrowed memelet a try. *crosses fingers*

One word to describe me ... just one single word.

Leave it in my comments.

Then post this message on your journal (or not) and see how many strange and interesting things people say about you!

*bats eyelashes* Please?

Oh, that's sweet. Thank you!

I did this for someone else, and thank goodness I could think of a single word easily. Because it can be a challenge (I'm an adjective and adverb-loving person). ;)

MMmmmm, I like that very much! So many nice connotations to that word. :)

Ooh, interesting choice!

Funny how often I feel clueless, but that's usually about wank/meanness/etc. And I guess it's good that people's less kind natures are still a surprise to me, when they happen. :)

The Coalition For Disturbing Metaphorshalfshellvenus on January 18th, 2008 01:48 am (UTC)
Actually, "kind" is an extremely important concept to me, so it thrills me that you chose that! ♥

Enigmatic.

:D It's so much nicer than "random" or "ultra-weird", both of which could mean similar things but... different connotations.

I think I'd pick "sweet" for you, knowing that would leave out all the talented and incredibly funny aspects of you, but it would still be my first impression after meeting you in person. :)
aeroport_artaeroport_art on January 18th, 2008 01:42 am (UTC)
Sensitive (in the good-connotation way)
The Coalition For Disturbing Metaphorshalfshellvenus on January 18th, 2008 01:52 am (UTC)
Hee! Unfortunately, I also tend to be sensitive in the bad-connotation way too! As in, "Sniffle, my feelings are hurt" and "Not so hard!" or "Too loud!" or "Augh, my eyes!"

I tell you, there's a certain unfairness in losing a little edge off the mid-range hearing (where voices occur) and losing nothing off the high-end where shrieking and metallic squealing and forks-on-the-plate occur. Ow, ow, ow!

I thought maybe 'prolific', but that didn't encapsulate enough about you. So, covering that and more: Impressive.
The Coalition For Disturbing Metaphorshalfshellvenus on January 18th, 2008 01:53 am (UTC)
Prolific would certainly be true. Frighteningly so, though less lately (thanks a lot, S3 canon!).

Impressive has all kinds of nice implications! *snuggles it*

Didn't take too long to think up: brilliant. Since I've been watching a lot of BBCAmerica, "brilliant" has many more definitions than I thought, and all of them apply to you, your writing, generosity, etc.
The Coalition For Disturbing Metaphorshalfshellvenus on January 18th, 2008 09:05 pm (UTC)
Oh, I love how the Brits use this word-- it's so _approving_!

Thank you so much!
Gretagretazreta on January 18th, 2008 04:02 am (UTC)
"Interesting".

ARGH BLUCK EW that's the word I forbid my students to use, because it's overused and doesn't mean what I MEAN it to mean. But "fascinating" sounds too stalkerish and rather like you're a bug, and "accomplished" was too much like you'd get on a report card for a young lady's finishing school. :D
The Coalition For Disturbing Metaphorshalfshellvenus on January 18th, 2008 08:58 pm (UTC)
Hahaha! It has lot of good connotations for me, though!

My sister's 4th-grade teacher forbade the use of "stuff," for obvious reasons. ;)

"accomplished" was too much like you'd get on a report card for a young lady's finishing school. :D

You must do the TV meme for "Lost" yourself, so I can see how many of your own answers are "Locke." I think there's a reason we both like him. :)
