Because I can't focus on a darn thing today. Might as well steal this sucker from happywriter06:

List all your fandoms, have your friends pick one and tell them:

1. The first character I fell in love with:
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't:
4. The character I love that everyone else hates:
5. The character I would sex up or make out with anytime:
6. The character I'd want to be like:
7. The character I'd slap:
8. A pairing that I love:
9. A pairing that I despise:
10. Favorite character:
11. What are your five favorite things about your fandom?
12. What are your five least favorite things about your fandom?
13. Who are your five favorite characters?
14. Who are your five least favorite characters?
15. What are your five favorite pairings?
16. What are your five least favorite pairings?
17. Which character are you most like?
18. What is your deep, dark fandom secret?

My Fandoms (that I claim, anyway). Asterisked ones are in the comments below:
**Supernatural
**Prison Break
**House, M.D.
Reaper (pretty new)
L&O: SVU
24
Oz
**The Shield
**Queer As Folk (S1 only)
Smallville (mostly dead to me now)
**Lost
**Arrested Development
**Simpsons-- can I put a cartoon show on the list?
Did I miss anything obvious? My brain is like a sieve.

ETA: Do I have any deep, dark fandom secrets? I thought most of my opinions were well-known. And in a couple of them, boy-- it'll be hard to find five pairings. Unless I get random, like Dean/Metallicar and Dean/Wall and Michael/Heartache. Maybe I'll throw in the Gen pairings too.

I started the Michael/Lincoln slash fic genre.

I freaking KNEW IT! When I first joined fandom and did my, erm, 'research', I never found anything pre-you. And I remember discussing with a friend of mine how if it hadn't been for PB, neither of us would ever have discovered slash (aside from our own personal sighsy thoughts that we never knew anyone else shared). And I said, 'Actually, I think it's all because of HalfShell, because I'm pretty sure she invented Michael/Lincoln.' :-o

We thank you.

Everything you said about Aldo? Word, word, word. I lobotomized my slash brain to remove him forever. He does not, nor has he ever, existed.

I'm slightly confused. I never cared much for the idea of Aldo, simply because it gave me too many bad X-Files flashbacks, but I don't really see how Aldo would make any difference to the slash factor.

Oops! My bad. I meant 'fandom', or 'fic', or 'show'... which, for me, are all interchangeable with 'slash'. *hangs head*

LOL :D

Hahaha! Yes, that's what I like to call it too. *purrs happily*

We thank you.
You're welcome! Nice not to be a pariah for starting up that pairing, though I could swear that the youngsters these days don't even know I write it! :0

He does not, nor has he ever, existed.
And I so wish I could do that to canon. Abandoning drunk of a father? Sure-- I'm good with that. OMG_SuperSecretSpyDaddyConspiracyGuy where everything is ultimately about HIM? Oh Jesus, no. Dumbest idea ever! Gah!

The least they could've done is follow through with that storyline - but they killed him off after, what, three episodes? So lame. What the hell was the point? And why does EVERY. SINGLE. CHARACTER have to be part of this grand conspiracy??

Word! I will never get what TV writers see in that. My first thought is always, "So, you didn't actually HAVE any real ideas about motivation for this, did you?"

Gah!

I tend to think that a lot of TV writing nowadays is very, "Hey! I have a great idea! Let's make Michael and Lincoln's long-lost father involved in the conspiracy. That'll really stir things up!" ... "So. What do we do with him now?" ... "Eh, screw it. Let's just kill him off."
