Psycho Penguin

(no subject)

Olympics: So after watching random Nordic-combined skiing and bobsledding, we finally get to the Women's Figure Skating and I pretty much tuned the whole thing out. Except the home-movie of the chubby toddler version of one of the skaters at age 4-5. Adorable!

Local TV News: the NBC-affiliate-n00b is up at Cisco Grove on I-80 talking about snow. It's always there or Blue Canyon, but it's the hallmark of local news rookies around here. Might as well be wearing a "Kick Me" sign.

Work: documentation, schmockumentation. I want register definitions and addresses for the in-house ASICs! Is that too much to ask?

Movies: we watched Wall-E again this weekend, and that is such a sweet movie. I love the humor, too (trigger-happy Eve, and Wall-E chucking away the attack-fire-extinguisher, for instance). There is so much pathos in that story, all the more remarkable because there is almost no dialogue. Awesome.

Prison Break Slash Fiction: "With Careless Abandon" (Michael, Lincoln, Veronica, PG)

Title: With Careless Abandon
Author: HalfshellVenus
Characters: Michael, Lincoln/Veronica (one-sided Slash)
Rating: PG
Summary: Veronica wasn't the first, but she seemed to be the one who was always there.
Author's Notes: Happy Birthday to clair_de_lune, who wanted some M/L. I went with a slightly different flavor for this one.
Also for fanfic100 ("Green") and writers_choice ("Covet").
