It's finished!
My final entry for pbficsurvivor is done now, and what a relief that is. It's epic-length for me (about 5400 words, which for me IS long), and uses a differently story-telling style than I typically do. Will it win enough favor to beat Chanchito's 10-chapter story, though? *bites nails*

Women in film morphing animation: a friend sent this to me yesterday, and it's fascinating. I kind of wish it would slow down so I could register the faces a little longer. Take a look!

This weekend: Office party tonight (whoo...), niece's out-of-town college graduation tomorrow, Christmas Tree on Sunday (and decorating and missed Saturday chores), Prison Break Fic Exchange story assignments to decide and email out, and... I'm tired already. Plus, no sleep last night. I was up really late finishing that story, and then too full of adrenaline afterwards. *is dragging*

So, what's everybody else up to this weekend? I'll bet some of you have final exams coming soon. :0

Thanks for the link. Will check it out.

Poor you. So, how many people do you have to match? Did the number stay below 20 at least?

It's right around 20-22, I think, which isn't too bad (the lowest I've ever had). The 40-author one gave me a massive headache, doing the matchups. This is a relief compared to that!

20 sounds about right to me. Decent amount of stories, not big enough to get messy. Weren't the first ones, the ones pre-you below 20? Didn't change that the quality was still great :)

The very first one was 9 authors, I think, and the second about 15-16. After that, they've all been monsters. :0

Yay, you're done writing the survivor story! I'll have a good read tonight or tomorrow! Between that and the fic exchange, you've been a very, very busy girl!

:D If I told you I had two Supernatural Xmas stories and another domestic fluff-fic I was supposed to be writing too (on top of Xmas preparations!) you'd have some idea of how truly frightening it's been. :0

The women in film link was kind of awesome. I kept waiting for the shape of the faces to change but it never really did. Goes to show that the Hollywood standard of beauty has not changed very much.

All my Christmas parties start next week so this weekend I'm just relaxing.

What was so interesting to me was the eyes-- round, then elongating to cat's eyes, then big eyebrows, then small.

A couple of the women there look almost like the same person, and others are very distinctly "spikes" in the data. It was hard to catch some of them as they went by-- I would have expected Ava Gardner, but I didn't see her. I'm pretty sure it ended on Halle Berry. It really does seem a little too fast, though!

:D Christmas was so much more relaxing before we had kids. The amount of "stealth work" alone is huge, and we have a metric ton more of decorating than we ever did for ourselves. We used to have table trees, way back when, some of the time.

I hope you enjoy your parties. Ours are just work-related this time of year, and my husband SO hates socializing with large groups of people. Even when they're his people. But for some people, it's wonderful. Not for me, you understand, but I don't mind it. :)
