The Sesame Street Character Blog
You know, this result is both disturbing and in many ways true... which makes it all the more disturbing.

And possibly schizophrenic...

Which Sesame Street Character Are You?

You are part Big Bird. You are something of an eccentric, and not everyone always gives you credit for your inventiveness and intelligence. You may not always know everything, but people turn to you for your sound, unique logic. Plus, you have a big heart. Really big.
You are part Elmo. You are lovable and ticklish, and always inquisitive. Sometimes, though, your excitement about the world can make you seem childish, naive, and occasionally irritating to others.

So yeah. I didn't take this quiz. I ended up taking the Disney villain quiz.

I was Jafar.

:D

I tried a few others, but I bailed out because NONE of the answers were good on a few questions. I'm grown up and out of the house, and not a big party-girl/drinker/etc. (never was), plus I'm married.

I took the "which city should you live in quiz," because I know the answer is Portland, but I got NYC. Which-- bwah-ha-ha-ha! So not me.

And the "which car are you" was not going well... :0

Well you were right to bail. No one should get a complex taking these quizzes.

Why Portland?
The Coalition For Disturbing Metaphors: Venushalfshellvenus on September 26th, 2007 12:52 am (UTC)
I've lived in Portland OR before, and it really suits my mindset. Liberal, live and let live, more earthy but not too much, intellectual without necessarily being snobby.

I took the villain test, and wound up a tie between Jafar and Lady Tremaine.

Because the ideal villain SHOULD be cunning and elegant, in my book. Different types are fun, but that's my favorite.

And "kids triumph over adults" is the worst movie ending of the choices, for me. Though I love the "Villain runs away!" and "Hero receives unfair help" ones. :D Maybe some of the potential villains you could be are especially bitter, after all. :0

Hee, I got the same result. And I think probably fairly true for me too.
The Coalition For Disturbing Metaphors: Venushalfshellvenus on September 26th, 2007 12:47 am (UTC)
Hahaha! I think so too!

I mean additionally, when I was your age I was only slightly less shy than you. Which seriously affects a lot of those questions, I think. :0

Because not all of us are in the "dancing on the table" or "I am my own cheerleader!" category. :D

For the record, your excitement about the world never irritates me.

And we're both half Big Bird! Yay us and our big squishy hearts!
The Coalition For Disturbing Metaphors: Venushalfshellvenus on September 26th, 2007 01:13 am (UTC)
I can sure see how that excitement/naivete would get old to some though. :0

The "big, squishy heart" part of Big Bird was SO true. And yet that character has always frightened me in every possible other way. Partly because he's huge. And freaky-looking. There, I said it! But in an excited way... ;)

So, does that mean you tied and got someone else for the other half? Who was it?
The Coalition For Disturbing Metaphors: PB slashhalfshellvenus on September 26th, 2007 01:15 am (UTC)
Oh, I peeked-- Count von Count was your other half. I always kind of liked him. But then, I AM obsessed with numbers.

Let's be honest. I'm just secretly Michael. And you know I love Linoln like he does. Naked beyond reason. ;)

I took the which superhero are you quiz. And I got Princess Leia. I've never seen the Star Wars movies (shut up!) so I don't know if that's good or bad.

:D I saw them originally, when preceding Sci-Fi movies had such bad special effects that they were styrofoam and paper plates and etching onto the film. :0

So seeing the original movies in the theater, where the ship flies right over your "head" and the theater shakes... Guh! And the battle scenes, and going down into the Death Star canals... I tell you, it was an incredible high watching those movies. Now they look like bad Space Westerns, but back then they were incredible.

Princess Leia had the stupid cinnamon-bun hair, but she bucked tradition and was willing to wield a space rifle, and sacrifice herself for her people. And especially back then, that made her comparitively kickass. So, go you! :D
