Sweet Charity Bidding Ends Today-ish (Self-Pimping-- now with detail!)
The Sweet Charity bidding deadline is 11:59pm Sept. 22 on GMT, and for US folks that's sometime today as near as I can tell.

I'm still going for cheap right now: $16.26 on Fiction, and $18.27 on Beta Services.

The fic services are for Supernatural or Prison Break (though I might be persuaded to write J-squared RPS, if you're insistent and you have prompts).

Here are some examples of what this could be for you!

Supernatural:
For Wincest, I'm known for my the epic longer stories (just posted the prior Sweet Charity fic here, an angsty, sexy romance, 6000 words), and also for PWP smut and schmoop. Or on the other end of the spectrum, there's Wincest Pirate Crackfic too. ;)
For Gen, I've done lots of different things. Longer adventures, drama/angst (Dean is my specialty), humor, crackfic, wee!chesterfic, and even drabble arcs. Looking at the shorter stories, there's still a lot of punch packed into those.

Prison Break:
I can write almost any character for this series, and can do Michael/Lincoln as angst, smut, erotica, romance, or combinations thereof. I've got a boatload of Gen works, including drama and the occasional crack. I've also written Het, and might be able to write that if you can find a pairing that works for me (not Michael/Sara or Lincoln/Jane).

I don't gravitate toward the dark stories, but I can definitely write them: tortured Michael/Lincoln, angst-laden non-con Wincest for instance.

And then there are pieces that are unique to the fandom, such as this Supernatural Gen story/ode.

If you want it, I'll bet I can write it. Give me a try! :)

Strange. My prizes seem to be stuck (probably because I don't have an account there).

I don't know quite what you mean by that, but I think you have to form an account to bid-- though I've gotten various "Anonymous" bids over time, so your account can choose not to publish your name, I think. :)

No, no, I just made a list of everybody on my flist who is offering and I listed them all with the prizes. If I (accountless) log in you are still listed as 8 pounds, which I think was the same prize from like a week ago. So that can't be right.

It might be right! Hence the panic. ;)

I haven't seen any site updates over last weekend's "$2400 off the bat" announcement, though, and sure the site total must be higher than that now.

Hey, maybe next time you can offer up your own services: "Will meta for charity! You pick the topic!"
The Good, The Bad and The Lanathelana on September 21st, 2007 07:33 pm (UTC)
Yeah, I'm confused about that too. I have seen some of those announcements and for some reason whenever I check the site the totals that they list there are quite a bit lower (even if you take them all together).

Meta for hire? LOL, little point to that since I'll gladly meta for free :)

Oh yes-- on YOUR topics. But what about someone else's insane rant? Now see, that has value. Exploration of thinky-space that someone else is fascinated with! For the right price, you could be eloquently fascinated with it too. ;)

;p

Well, if you ever have any topics you are interested in, just give me a holler :)

Actually I've been resisting doing a long "Where I think PB will be going this season" meta because I figure it would probably be too depressing :D Plus, I've been writing out my various theories in the Spoilers and Speculation topic on TWOP anyway.

It's kind of hilarious that right now my biggest temptation probably is to write 6000 words on the treatment and the future of Bellick :D

I have to say though, as much as I would like to see Dominic naked, I'm not really feeling that new chick. I read the original character write up and I thought, okay, I'm not exactly extatic about it, but I could see a bunch of ways how it could work. Like if she was very technical and by the book or if she was very in your face passionate. But so far she mostly looks quite mean. Very laid back cat who ate the canary. She could still be a cool sort of Kellerman like evil character, but I doubt she would work for me as anything but that.

You'd be buying the M/L porn, wouldn't you? ;)

I can't imagine it would be the Wincest Pirate AU, though you never know! Cracktastic fun.... :D

Um, not necessarily... I'm sure I could come up with a SPN request; I've invested a lot into Dean. Baby boy.

Well, it's a moot point, anyway. :(

All I can say is that I hope Jasmasson buys your beta services again, because her Porn Porn was awesome! :D

It totally was! A very worthwhile venture (I make it sound so highbrow, and yet... drooolz~~~)
