Twenty minutes to midnight, and Sam and Dean had a date with a demon. The local construction site had been losing workers right and left, with extra tunnels and sinkholes popping up every day.

They were packing the supplies at the motel.

“Do we have everything?” Sam asked.

Dean began the inventory. “Flashlight, salt, iron—Celtic cross for this baby-- baking soda bullets for backup, and ‘Hos.”

“What?”

Dean turned, still holding the prized package of snacks from the gas station mini-Mart. “In case we get hungry.”

“Oh.” Sam tried to hide his grin. “I thought you meant something else.”
