Even LJ quizzes don't play the way I want them too!
My SPN quiz results of the latest (gakked from wenchpixie):

You On Supernatural (for the girls)
LJ Username
Favourite colour?
Dean or Sam?
Mullet rock?
Favourite monster?
You are a actress
Your friend dotfic
Was killed by a tulpa
You're rescued as this song plays Laugh I Nearly Died
You get it on with Sam in the forest
Will he actually call you? (8) - Most likely. - (8)

Did ya see the part where I picked "Dean" as favorite brother? And yet I wind up sleeping with Sam (just as wenchpixie did). I think this might be deliberate evohl on the part of the quiz-maker.

Is "Laugh I Nearly Died" the same as "Laugh, laugh, I thought I'd die?" If not, I probably don't know it at all. And I always get in trouble when the title isn't either obvious or from part of the lyrics.

Also, what is a tulpa? Clearly I haven't been paying attention to allll the details of the episodes.

Did no writing last night-- spent time reading J-squared (just like the night before) :0 and suddenly it's bedtime and then some. Must get with it tonight! Have deadlines!

Thanks to the flap about "The Tudors" TV show, my husband came to me last week with a new issue:

HH: Is there a John Rhys-Davies and a Jonathan Rhys-Meyers?
Me: Yes
HH: *grooooaaan*

New fodder for the actor-confusion problem he already has.

Previously: William Hurd, John Heard, John Hurt. Less of a problem now that only John Heard gets work.
More recent: Bill Pullman, Bill Paxton, Will Patton. Sometimes he confuses Jeffrey Daniels with Bill Pullman. I do not know why.

Finished Velvet Goldmine (first time I've found Ewan McGregor hot), watched The Last Kiss a few weeks ago (my fluffy heart was depressed by the premise, and my husband even moreso), Zodiac was incredibly long yet an intriguing study of obsession , and oh-- we re-watched Shrek while on vacation (Donkey is still my favorite part of that movie).

Good weekend coming up? I'm unsure about mine...

Re: How do I
Cut and paste the code and put it in a comment(there's even a nice clicky button to the right for you to do that. You should be able to put it right in the comment below).

:D I modified my "favorite monster" to the yellow-eyed demon, and yowza-- new best friend, new job, and I'm making it with Sam AND Dean at a motel! :0

Re: How do I
Okay I did that and I posted it here but it didn't show my user name so I tried again and now it won't post at all. I swear it hates me.

Re: How do I
Wow, I don't know why it's not cooperating.

They key parts seem to be your color and your favorite monster. What did you pick for those?

Sam+Dean at the hotel is a winner in my book.:D

I also fixed the dangling </a> code error in my version, just because I could. ;)

Re: How do I
Well see there's my problem. I am technologically challanged. Yea Dean and Sam in the motel room with the song She Shook Me all Night Long how the hell could you go wrong I ask.

Re: How do I
purple and gordon. He was just really good at being bad.

Re: How do I
Aha! I don't think of Gordon as a monster, per se, but he was a damn fine villain!

And yes, you win on the song, location, and the "pairing" for your reward. \o/

It's not deliberate. ;-P I chose Dean and got Dean...on top of the Impala. Again. I changed my favorite color three times (because I fluctuate between then) and every single time? Top of the car. What is the deal with that? But, hell, he's calling me back. I guess that's a good thing. And who can argue with "The Killing Moon" being played in the background while I'm rescued?

Yeah, baby!

I think your choice of "favorite monster" is probably the highest determinant.

Top of the Impala.... droolz~~~~

I can totally go for that. :D

It's the perfect height. To whit:

And it's already got the Dean accessory attached. Rrowr!

Dammit, is there a William Hurt and a William Hurd?

I totally understand your husband's confusion. And aside from actors' names, there are actor types that I can't distinguish. As far as I'm concerned, Burt Reynolds and Tom Selleck are the same person.
The Coalition For Disturbing Metaphors: Venushalfshellvenus on April 13th, 2007 09:31 pm (UTC)
Dang, if there's a William Hurd too, I'm not telling my husband. He already boggles over those three choices already!

As far as I'm concerned, Burt Reynolds and Tom Selleck are the same person.
In terms of "genre" and basic studly mustached-appearance, I can understand the overlap. Except that Tom Sellick is taller and has a girly-voice, and Burt is of course older. And wilier. ;)

I blew it on Supernatural where I was convinced that one of the regular guest actors was Giovanni Ribisi at his first appearance. Now, I have no idea who he actually is. He's just that guy that looks like Giovanni Ribisi. :0

My all time favorite thing your husband will ever say is *Is that the guy with the little ears?*

Cracks me up every time I think about it!

:D I still think it's hilarious. From "Hey, he's really pretty good-looking, isn't he?" at least 6 times during the run of "John Doe" to that comedown once Prison Break started.

This is what happens when you shave off all your hair! :0 And forget to open your shirt all the time. ;)

I can't remember! "Hell House" is mostly prank-prank-TOWEL!-prank-evilSamLaugh-dorksInTrailer-prank to me. I can't remember the authentic supernatural component of it at all! :0

I can't seem to find the full melody of the Rolling Stones song, though I like their music, so "Yay!"

Much better than hair-band stuff, which I can't stand (Oh, Kripke-- come to Jesus, please. Nothing past 1974!)
