The Clock is Running Out!
Hours left in the bidding for Sweet Charity. Hope you've staked your claim on someone, and are fighting for it tooth and nail!

Right now, I've got anteka winning my Beta services for cheap (no idea what she wants them for!), and the lovely monotonygirl is duking it out with an anonymous someone for the ficcing bid.

I am fairly certain that whoever comes out on top of the Fic bid, a Wincest story will be involved. FTW!

On the flip side of the coin, the Prison Break Gen part of the fandom could not be deader. Seriously-- I have the first of 3 stories for the weekend up, and no-one's reading it. And it's Kellerman! He'll make a cracktastic appearance later, and Michael and LIncoln have a Gen piece waiting to be posted. Gah. Is there a point anymore?

Meanwhile, I am working on porn for pheebs1 and trying to decide whether to do either of the drabble thingies this week. And see whether I can finish the SPN Gen story I started for 60_minute_fics last night. I love those challenges, but I'm falling asleep in the middle of writing week after week!

Wow,congrats, you are going for almost 30 pounds! In dollars that's twice as much, isn't it?

LOL at you falling asleep in the middle of writing.

Ha, that happens so often now if I'm not writing in the middle of the day (most of my writing is at night).

The first one was "Dialogues in Faith" over a year ago, where I had to go back the next day and trim down the huge number of repetitive uses of "Faith" and "Hope" (the two big themes of the story).

Now it's all the time. The SPN "Bedside Manners" that I wrote about 5 weeks back (and finally finished later during daylight hours" was a good half hour of Part 3 being "Dean mugh-whuh bandaaaaaaaaaaaidzzzzzzzzz" "Whuh?" "Bandaaaaaaaaaaaidzzzzzz" "Whuh?" "Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz"

Unbelievable. *headdesk*

Is my f-page messing up? I haven't seen your post! *going to investigate*

The Kellerman/Reynolds is the one that's up now (from the exchange). There's a Lincoln & Michael Gen one going up tomorrow later today (god, WHY am I not in bed yet), and the Kellerman!Crack on Monday.

And meanwhile, porn-porn-porn, because I owe pheebs1 a good one. :)

YAY TO PORN YAY!

:D Especially when it's porn for you! \o/

At least half done now... ;)

I bid for your beta! But jamesson won. Congratulations to the winner! You fetched quite the price for your beta too in the end!

I saw your name flash by in the bidding! That was so sweet of you.

And I was hoping to make it worth someone's while, one way or another. I did a bunch of work on the three-part Fic Exchange story, and it just reinforced a) Whew, what an effort that can be, and b)What an incredible payoff it is making a great story damn near perfect. :D

Anteka did say that she was aware of bidding on beta work, and she had PlasticWinchester plans for it, so... might just poke her and see if she still wants some.

Also known as "advance preview of upcoming PWT episodes!"

Lucky you!

LOL, I didn't even have a story ready for betastage. At least nothing I would want you to beta. But I was looking forward to maybe winning. It would have motivated me to write a story just for you to beta :D

My loss, jasmesson's gain!!

That would totally have worked. :D

I figure that the fic services will be expected soon, but the beta service is the kind of thing someone might want to sit on while they work up Their Epic, so as to make sure they are getting their money's worth on the deal. ;)

I am almost positive that I have won at this point, and if that's the case, then I will tell you why later (if you care to know). You're so worth it! I have never won anything, and it's for such a good cause! I just bought myself my birthday gift two weeks early (and when the dust settles, I hope it's me!). A million apologies with lots of hugs and kisses to anonymous!
Jas Massonjasmasson on March 25th, 2007 10:21 am (UTC)
Damn you;-) I wasn't anonymous, but I came in with a bid at the end! Curse your lightning fast computer skills!!
The Coalition For Disturbing Metaphors: JSquaredLovehalfshellvenus on March 26th, 2007 04:48 am (UTC)
I only ever saw you show up by name on the Beta stuff at the end, and that was all a win-win situation for me! Could have been Plastic Winchesters for anteka, anything ranging from Crack to Wincest for missyjack, Lincoln/Michael goodness for callmetofu, or something Supernatural/J-squared most likely for you. :)

There were nooooo unloved options in that bunch, let me tell you. :)
The Coalition For Disturbing Metaphors: SN Lovershalfshellvenus on March 26th, 2007 04:44 am (UTC)
Congratulations! Yes, you were the winner in the mad bid-off with Anonymous (unless it was also jassmason, though it could have been anybody-- a group even)!

I would love to know why you bidded (god, what author wouldn't), and of course I await your Supreme Orders on what I'm to write for you now. :D

Thanks so much! *dances madly*
Jas Masson: ima_pseudonymjasmasson on March 25th, 2007 10:20 am (UTC)
Gosh darn it! monotonygirl outbid me for your fic ;-) A worthy winner! But I have your mad betaing skillz, so mwahahah!

Just FYI, I would have loved a Michael and Lincoln Prison Break fic gen or slash, because no one does it better than you! I have a £30+ bid to show my sincerity!

I wouldn't have guessed that! I just assumed everyone would have wanted Supernatural, so it's wonderful to know that the Lincoln/Michael love is still out there.

Thanks for all the bids, and I await your Special Epic for betaing. Wonder which of the tasty genres it will be-- Supernatural, or J-squared? *MMmmmmmmm* ♥
Jas Masson: ima_pseudonymjasmasson on March 26th, 2007 04:39 pm (UTC)
The love most definitely is there! Your michael lincoln fics are such jewels (the definitive representation of them for me!) I just wanted to encourage more more more!

My fic for betaing will be J-squared, for although I love the M/L, I cannot write them ;-) I'll email you with details shortly ♥
