Have you hugged your Prison Break Fandom today?
Some quick updates. First, final voting in the Prison Break Fanfic Awards is taking place now. Be sure to cast your vote!

Second, a whole bunch of fantastic stories are being posted daily for the Prison Break Fic Exchange. Lots of variety, and if you love Kellerman the Chuckleheaded Sociopath the way I do, well-- riches abound!

At home, my kids are fixated on Club Penguin, which is a great kids' site featuring Penguins (! of course!) and silly games to play with them. You can win points in games and buy accessories for your penguin (furniture for their igloo, clothing, or my personal favorite, the Sea Monster). Because I'm a cheap laugh, one of my favorites is the downhill snow-tubing races, where if you blow it your penguin gets knocked out of its inner-tube and forward rolls through the air before face-planting tragically in the snow. I almost feel cruel for laughing at it, but I can't help myself!

Also... people are bidding on me for Sweet Charity! This fills me with immense child-like glee. I put up my Beta services as an auction item as well as fic, because you ALL KNOW how fierce and thorough a Beta I am, and what an incredible amount of energy it takes. Hence, I figured the product was worth auctioning!

What important things have I missed in your lives or postings while totally obsessed with getting all the PB Fic Exchange stories reviewed and posted?

Not much that isn't The Black Donnellys (aka the show that ate my BRAIN)...

However:
A Snark-Filled Letter to a Maxi-Pad Manufacturer that's been going around (I got it from medie, who got it from someone else).

Also, if you've ever had the desire to watch Ultraviolet because it's got William Fichtner in it, don't. Look at this picspam instead. Shorter and less likely to cause brain-hemorrhages.

The Black Donnellys isn't doing much for me, I'm afraid. I really hate family crime shows in general (you know-- mobster movies and such), and I don't find any of the characters particularly attractive and definitely not appealing! So it's all, "meh," which is too bad. My f-list is going nuts over it.

I read the Maxi-Pad letter, which was hilarious. :D

And I'm not a William Fichtner nut-- the look of "Ultraviolet" intrigued me from the trailers, but the story looked like complete garbage. And I'm not a style-over-substance kind of gal, when the substance is dreck! The picspam could be fun, though. ;)

My little sister is OBSESSED with Club Penguin. She and her best friend play it together all the time, while talking on the phone. It's adorable.

:D It's so cute, I can hardly stand it. My son tried out the "mining car" game this weekend, and the horror-stricken look on the penguin's face every time it wipes out on a curve just makes me giggle.

I AM a cheap laugh. But then again, my weakness for penguins is obviously quite well know. ;)
