Randomness and Movie Meme
Still cleaning up the house from holidays and the Great Purge. All our Christmas decorations are still out, which will be put away this weekend (oh, joy). Except that I think there might be a mad dash on the tree tonight, because the Boy Scouts are probably doing pickup tomorrow. :0

It is frickin' freezing here right now, and windy. The outdoor bike ride potential does not look good, and I spent two days on the elliptical trainer at the gym while the bike was getting a tuneup. My last ride was Tuesday, and I went out very late and used the Ostrich method of telling myself that it wasn't THAT late and I wouldn't run out of daylight. Riiiiight. I spent the last part of the ride trying to speed back up out of the parkway before total darkness (thank you, full moon!) and worrying about deer jumping out in front of the bike. Deer and coyotes really like that time of day. In my right mind, I'd remember that skunks do too, and I'd make an effort to get out earlier.

Biscotti rant later. And now, I was tagged by lady_iz for this:

Seriously? Oh, man. It's somewhat like "Beetlejuice" for me, in that it takes something entirely outlandish and treats it seriously.

Love the aliens alone, and I really love Tommy Lee Jones' dry delivery.

Sorry they do not amuse you!

I've had this discussion about "Napolean Dynamite" before. That movie, to me, is like watching paint dry. And I'm embarassed for all the actors being so lame in it. Others think it's comic genius. *shrugs*

I haven't seen it, but my sister has and loves it. We usually have the same taste in humour. Usually.
